A Distinguishing Sign

Anteneh Hailu is the Founder and Director of the Parousia Mission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. His greatest pursuit is in equipping people with the necessary tools to effect change in their lives and in the lives of others; with the ultimate aim of seeing souls saved in God’s kingdom.

Anteneh was born in Northern Ethiopia at a time that was particularly unfriendly to Adventism. Despite the general social uncertainty, he was always inclined to participating in church activities. However, as he grew up, he got caught up in gross worldliness: with the snare of soccer and politics. Growing ambition for monetary gain and worldly acclaim sank him into major depression. It was only after a failed attempt at committing suicide that he came face to face with the depth of God’s love for him. He progressively surrendered his life to God and to the service of humankind.

Anteneh attended Norway Bible School, where he trained as an evangelist. He later joined Tekoa Mission in the United States of America- which was a life-changing experience, that inspired him to return to his home country and set up Parousia Ministry.

He is happily married to Mihret Elias, and they have one son Mishael Anteneh
