A call to a deeper walk with Christ and a life of service
The theme ARISE, drawn from Isaiah 60:1, shaped every plenary, seminar and prayer meeting.
The theme unfolded in four parts:

A call from the General Conference President
Before the conference, General Conference President Erton Köhler invited the youth of Africa to arise.
The work began before the doors opened
Mission teams served in communities, schools and campuses before delegates arrived, and some work continued after the conference closed.

Four hours. 1,800 pieces of literature.
On outreach day, delegates went into the city and shared Christian literature, including IMPACT tracts, The Great Controversy and Words of Hope.
