The Experience

What to Expect

Before You Go

Preparation and Training

You will be connected with your team and given preparation materials and training resources before your deployment date. You will know exactly what to expect before you arrive.

On the Ground

Structured Mission Work

Each site has daily structure — morning devotions, outreach assignments, Bible study appointments, community service, and evening reporting. You will not be left to figure it out alone.

After the Mission

A Legacy That Continues

You go home. But what you started does not stop. Follow-up contacts, Bible study pipelines, and local church connections continue the work long after your time on site ends.

You Do Not Need Experience. You Need a Willing Heart.

Yes. Several mission sites run before or after the conference dates of July 3 to 7 in Lusaka. You can plan to do both. Check the site dates above and register for the conference separately at gyc.africa/register.

That is the point. GYC Africa Impact is a continental mission. Teams are made up of missionaries from different countries working together. The cross-cultural experience is part of what makes it powerful.
