Africa has the youngest population in the world. Nearly half the Global SDA church membership is here. Yet mission efforts happen in pockets – isolated, unconnected, without a shared platform that gathers, trains and sends young people a one force.

Pre-conference campus missions across Sierra Leone, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Ghana, and Nigeria. Nine outreach activities across markets, prisons, hospitals, and orphanages.

Everything You Need to Know
GYC Africa Impact is open to any committed young Seventh-day Adventist. Students, young professionals, campus ministry leaders, and local church members have all served on GYC Africa mission sites. The only requirement is that you come ready to work.
Is this conference for me if I have never done evangelism before?
Yes. You do not come because you are ready. You come to get ready. The training meets you where you are and takes you further — whether you have never led a Bible study or have been in active ministry for years.
Will attending pull me away from my local church?
The opposite. GYC Africa is a supporting ministry of the SDA Church and an ASI member. The entire design of the conference is to send you back to your local church stronger than when you left. Can I attend the conference and also join a mission site?
Yes. Several mission sites run before or after the conference dates of July 3 to 7. You can plan to do both. Visit gyc.africa/mission for all site dates and apply separately from your conference registration.

Is the group pricing available for church youth groups?
Yes — group packages are designed specifically for church groups and campus ministries. Group of 5 is $124, Group of 10 is $240, and Group of 20 is $320. Register at gyc.africa/register and select your group size.
